Project Firstline CDC’s National Training Collaborative for Healthcare Infection Prevention & Control

Thank you to our funders, the AAP and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for awarding the AAP-OC Chapter the opportunity to contribute to Project Firstline, a National Training Collaborative for Healthcare Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) that aims to educate all U.S. health care workers with the foundational understanding of IPC to protect the nation from infectious disease threats.

As a Project Firstline partner, the AAP serves as a virtual training center on infection prevention and control to expand and strengthen the capacity, collaboration, and coordination of pediatric health care providers during the ongoing response to COVID-19, and to improve the health of all children and their families.
